FAQ
What is cheek enhancement?
Cheek fillers can add volume to sunken areas, often giving a gentle lift to the lower face, or they can be used to add shape and contour to a flatter face. Cheek enhancement often leads to instant beautification for the female face. The procedure is also becoming increasingly popular with males as with many of our injectable and skin treatments.
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
A water-loving molecule that binds up to 400 times its weight in water, acting as the skin’s own moisturiser! Helping to keep skin plump, hydrated, supple, and volumised.
Will it hurt?
Our team has gone the extra mile to be trained in the use of micro-cannulas. Using this method of injecting means there is only one entry point using a needle and the rest is carried out using a hair-fine instrument resulting in a completely safe and pain-free procedure.
When will I see results and how long does it last?
Effects of the treatment are visible immediately and can last up to 6-9 months, again dependant on lifestyle factors, ageing, and genetics. We also offer the Juvederm Vycross® range, which is designed to be long-lasting, some results are seen lasting up to 12-18 months.
To care for and receive the maximum results from your treatment please adhere to the following aftercare advice;
For 24 hours after procedure refrain from any alcohol, strenuous exercise, make-up application, and UVA tanning beds. Please remember, excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, strenuous exercise, and sun exposure can affect and help to reduce the lifespan of your treatment.
Is there any down time?
Downtime is minimal due to cannula use. Clients can experience some signs of swelling or possible bruising at the entry point and the area can sometimes feel tender to touch. This lasts on average 2-3 days but will subside. Try to sleep upright as much as possible during this time.

How will I know what I need?
This is our most common question when considering facial fillers. Our advice is to try not to overthink this, Louise and her team of highly skilled and experienced injectors will guide you through your consultation, taking into consideration existing bone structure, and the look you desire to achieve.
Will it make me look puffy?
Another common question! People imagine that adding volume to their cheek area will make them look overweight, or puffy even.
This is very much not the case, in fact, it is the complete opposite! Adding volume to the bone area to exaggerate, or to an area that has lost its youthful volume and fullness can only add to the rejuvenation process.
Do you offer a combined treatment for cheek, jawline and chin?
Yes! Please check our pricelists for the combined contour package, you can purchase the recommended amount and this can be used between cheek enhancement, jawline contouring, and chin shaping. Try not to worry too much about how much should be used, this can be discussed and changed with Louise on the day. The average amount required is between 3-5ml.
