Dermamelan Intimate Depigmentation Peel

Dermamelan Intimate is a depigmenting solution created by Mesoestetic, the same brand responsible for the Cosmelan depigmenting peel, designed to address hyperpigmentation in the intimate area and underarms.

Phase 1

Phase One of treatment is to intensively depigment the area.

Firstly the area will be washed with lukewarm water and gauze. Mesolips protector is then applied around the internal intimate area to protect from the solution and prevent it from migratig.

The Dermamelan solution is applied to the areas you wish to treat, and is left for 7 minutes. Once the 7 minutes is over, the practioner will then spray a neutralising spray and ensure no residue needs to be removed.

More Mesolips is applied, followed by the Dermamelan mask on the treatment area. An occlusive film is that placed over the area to activate the ingredients and helps to keep the mask in place.

You will then need to remain in clinic for 2-4 hours, and the mask will be removed by the practitioner.

Phase 2

Phase Two of the treatment is to regulate the body’s production of melanin.

Now that the mask has been removed, a post-procedure crystal fiber mask is placed over the treatment area.

For 48 hours after treatment, you’ll apply the Dermamelan intimate home depigmenting gel cream over the treatment area.

Skin redness and feeling of being sunburnt might occur for the first 2 days. Flaking usually appears around day 3 and can proceed for up to one week. Once the flaking subsides you will start to notice improvement of the pigmentation and for further improvement and maintenance, you will be required to continue Dermamelan homecare. Initially, when using your maintenance creams, the skin will feel sensitive, tight and may continue flaking; this usually subsides after about 2 weeks.

What results can I expect from Dermamelan Intimate?

Results can usually be seen as early as 1-week post-treatment, the pigment will continue to lift and lighten and the best results are usually observed about 4 weeks into the treatment. The skin will appear even, luminous, and healthy after just one treatment.
