What is jawline enhancement?
The ability to place dermal fillers around the jawline using a needle or micro-cannula to enhance, sculpt, lift and define the area.
How is it done?
Different types and quantities of dermal filler in various depths of skin are layered to create an uplifting and contoured effect. Using a needle, sometimes maybe a cannula, a small hole is made into the skin around the jawline. A fine tool is then inserted into the entry point and from there the entire procedure is carried out. This allows our Injectors to work freely without the risk of penetrating any arteries or veins in a safe and comfortable manner, creating sculpted, elongated jawlines.
Filler in this area is zero downtime and immediate improvement in jawline and profile.
How much filler will I need?
The amount is purely based on consultation as each and every case is different. An average amount for a natural but noticeable look can be anything from 2/3 syringes, while our combined contour for beautification can range from 4/5 or even several syringes across the cheek area, chin and jawline.. Any less than this may result in dissatisfaction with the outcome. Jawline contouring is very much a buildable treatment. Dependant on existing bone structure, and taking into consideration existing tissue mass, our experienced injectors will guide you in selecting how many syringes of product to purchase. Please be realistic in doing so, what works for some, may not work for another. Length of treatment is again purely down to you the client, your lifestyle, and genetic predisposition, so bear that in mind when considering which type of treatment will work for you.
A common combination of jawline sculpting is cheek and chin enhancement. In place of this, we offer our combined contour package, making the treatment and its maintenance affordable.
Is there any down time?
Downtime is minimal for this treatment, with most returning to normal activities almost immediately. The only thing we do require is no heavy intense exercise for 48 hours just to let the filler settle. Possible bruising at the injection site and tenderness or swelling in the jaw area but this should reside within a few days.
To get maximum results from your treatment please adhere to the following advice;
For the next 48 hours refrain from any alcohol, strenuous exercise, make-up application, and UVA tanning beds.
Please remember, excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, strenuous exercise, and sun exposure can affect and help to reduce the lifespan of your treatment.
Is it painful?
Jawline enhancement is one of the least painful non-surgical treatments our team carries out, and the whole procedure takes around 20 minutes. A topical anaesthetic can be applied if a client has a low pain threshold but isn’t really necessary.
How long does it last?
This depends on you, not the product or the treatment. Effects of the treatment are visible immediately and can in most cases, last around 6-9 months, depending solely on lifestyle factors, ageing, and predisposed genetics. We also offer the Juvederm® Vycross range, which is designed to be longer-lasting, some results are seen lasting up to 12-18 months. Jawline contouring is very much a buildable treatment, outcomes dependant on existing bone structure, and taking into consideration of existing tissue mass.
Please remember, excessive alcohol consumption, weight gain, weight loss, smoking, strenuous exercise, and sun exposure can affect and help to reduce the lifespan of your treatment.

Can I get a facial on the same day?
Yes! We can treat your skin prior to your fillers appointment, but please be aware some skin products may be removed in the process. We cannot treat the skin after fillers. Facials can resume 14 days after fillers.
Can I drive after fillers?
Yes. You will be perfectly fine to drive after the procedure, please try to attend the appointment on our own. Due to the nature of our treatments, we do not allow children on the premises. We hope you understand.

Will jawline fillers make my face look wider?
Well, this depends on who you go to!
Jawline Filler is a treatment for both men and women, but many patients are worried that adding filler to this area of the face that it will make the lower face look heavier or wider. By creating or restoring a distinct cervicomental angle the whole face can become more balanced, in turn beautifying the female features or for most males, seeking a more masculine look.
The procedure is a fairly new area to inject for some countries, however, our Clinical Director Louise was one of the first Cosmetic Injectors to offer Jawline Fillers in the UK, and is sought by many to correct the inexperienced work that today’s market brings.
