FAQ
Will it hurt?
Toxin injections are one of the least painful non-surgical treatments Louise and our nurses carry out. As well as using an extremely fine needle, anaesthetic can be applied if a client has a low pain threshold but this isn’t usually necessary.
Are there any side effects?
There may be bruising, mild swelling at the injection site, headaches, or redness. These will subside within 24 hours. There is a possible risk of asymmetry of expression or drooping – however, our team is so highly experienced and trained that there is absolutely minimal risk.
Is there any aftercare?
Keep treated muscles active for a few hours, avoid extreme heat/cold, vigorous exercise, lying down or leaning over for 4-6 hours.
