PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma. Firstly your skin will be cleaned and blood will be drawn from the arm in order to extract the platelets. Your blood will then be spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the blood. When this plasma is injected into the skin, the growth factors within the plasma begin to stimulate new collagen production.
